Winnipeg Law Firm Olschewski Davie Establishes Primary Office At 317 Donald Street

WINNIPEG, MB: Olschewski Davie Barristers & Solicitors, a full-service law firm with a strong focus on real estate law, has established its primary office at 317 Donald Street, a prominent and historic address in downtown Winnipeg.

The site has a long history in the city. In the 1920s, it was home to the Capitol Theatre, which operated until 1990. In 2006, the current four-storey office building was constructed on the property for Credit Union Central of Manitoba. Olschewski Davie has now acquired the building, with its primary office located on the main floor.

Located in downtown Winnipeg, 317 Donald Street places the firm within close reach of key landmarks, including Canada Life Centre and several major redevelopment projects, like Portage Place and the transformation of the former Hudson’s Bay site. The area is slated to experience significant growth thanks to initiatives like CentrePlan 2050.

“This was a deliberate move for us,” said Richard Olschewski, LLB, founder and partner of Olschewski Davie. “We wanted to be closer to where investment and development are happening. There’s a lot of activity in this part of the city, and this location positions us well to be part of it.”

Olschewski Davie will continue to operate its existing satellite offices throughout Winnipeg, ensuring continued accessibility and service for clients across the city. The locations of its satellite offices can be found on its website.

Since its founding in 1999, Olschewski Davie has provided a wide range of legal services to clients in Winnipeg and the surrounding area, including residential and commercial real estate, family law, civil litigation, wills and estates, immigration law, and corporate law. The firm operates from multiple locations across Winnipeg, anchored by its primary office at 317 Donald Street. It offers video signing for certain documents and an option for online payment for greater accessibility and convenience.
